I AM NOT DEAD!

2011 was diffidently a year full of many ups and downs but it ended on a very high note! So far 2012 has been treating me just as well, if not better!

I won't bore you all with the details of my last year. If anyone is that particularly interested, I wouldn't mind sharing some highlights at a later time. What I really want to get out through this journal is my complete and utter thanks to all of those who have continued to watch my dead lifeless deviantART this whole time! As well to all of those people who have continued to fave and follow me! You all haven't gone unnoticed, I assure you It's been an utter treat coming on to an account that has still been given attention to by others even when I have neglected it as much as I have.

I may start a tumblr sometime for my art, but I do not want to completely forget about the site that really started getting me connected with fellow artists such as yourselves.

So, once more, I thank you all.

If anyone would like to keep in touch with me where I am more likely to be found, all you have to do is ask. Also, if I do get this tumblr thing started up, you all will be the first to know!

Hey guys!

Sorry I've been horrible at updating.

And I'm going to try not to rant since I just found out my scanner/printer here is broken/at least made weird sounds and said to consult the manual when I never touched it...Needless to say I'm glad I'm going back to college to things that I know will work. (Leaving at 2am tomorrow is a bit of a pain in the ass, especially since I found out I /won't/ be allowed to take my car. . .)

Yeah, speaking of which I did get my license; not like it matters I'm not allowed to take it because people think that I'm too 'inexperienced' to drive it to college or even have it driven there for me and left there. Fun times. I can totally become more experienced by NOT driving at all, right? Mhmm. I agree. -_-

Beyond the suck that can be my home life at times, I really have been having a good break with VaJt and Chocobokabob, along with others. I wish my break was longer so I could hang out with them more, but ah well. I'll hopefully see them all at Ohayocon at the end of the month

The reason I'm leaving at 2am is to get back to campus on Monday since I got into another play~ It's called Beat the Sunset; a play about aids awareness mostly. It's touching and I'm looking forward to losing myself in our long rehearsals this week; hopefully they'll help with line memorization as well.

Other than that R&J went awesome and I ended the semester on the Dean's List again, so things go well as long as I'm away from the stress inducers that can arise at home XD

I'm going to be crazy busy this coming semester so don't really expect much out of me until I can sit back and relax in the summer. I have the play, then I'm going to try to get an internship for sometime in the summer by auditioning this month, Ohayocon's at the end of January and then I have props/scenic art to do for the musical in the spring along with directing a one act. AHH. I'll make it <<;; somehow. . .

Support is always appreciated though and I'll try to find time to upload somethings as I go through the motions.

Thanks everyone who faved/watched/commented and llama'd this past year as well! I do have some resolutions for 2011, but they're mostly things like keeping on top of things in college and working on anatomy without hard core reference xP We'll see how they go.

So I guess I can update since like. . .July. -cough-

What, it's only been like 3 months, that's nothing. <<

Well! Where to start! Most of you already know, but for those of you who don't; the reason I've been so damn busy and not updating anything is because I managed to make my college life even busier than last year!

But! This time it's epic!

I WAS CAST AS MERCUTIO IN OUR PRODUCTION OF ROMEO & JULIET!!
It's set in 1950s America; where the Capulets are squares and the Montagues are greasers~ Think more of The Outsiders or Crybaby for influence, rather than the typical West Side Story or Grease.

Yeah, it's bad ass. And the best part is how much I am honestly learning being able to be in this production! My director is phenomenal as well, Andy Felt. He's taught me so much since my first acting class with him till now that I can never thank him enough (and it was also his birthday yesterday xP )

On top of that, I am 99% sure I'm going to drop down to a Studio Art Minor and get a BFA in Theatre~ Since studio art doesn't offer any of the classes really that I wanted to take, and graphic design is just. . .an experience. I'm sure the professors are awesome outside of class but some are just asking too much out of a 100 level class. It's pretty ridiculous.

Good news about this is; I only need one or two more classes in art before I have my studio art minor! So I can focus on getting my general education credits out of the way (I only need 16 I think) and take crazy advantage of the awesome theatre classes we're starting to get here. I wish I was coming in as a freshman next year because the newly vamped curriculum is going to be totally awesome for those people who are completely dedicated to the theatre like I am. The starts of it being classes like scenic painting and fight choreography classes...so awesome.

Umm...besides all that it'll be my 20th Birthday on Monday (10/18)
...where did the years go, is my question. >> It's INSANE. I can't believe it.

I'll make more updates on R&J stuff if I have the time~ The show goes up the 29th of October and runs that weekend, then we have four performances during the day for high schools and then we close the show for the weekend of November 5th-7th. I don't perform on Oct. 31st or in two of the four high school performances since those are for the understudies~ But I get to watch, so that's going to be just as fun!

In case you hadn't caught on, all of this work means very little actual artwork from me :/ But as soon as I get some time to myself I want to draw! And I'll try to remember to put up some R&J pictures too perhaps after photo call~

Hey guys. I just felt like writing up a little journal updating stuffs. I'm starting to prepare for college, since I leave for it in around a month from now~ And I've been drawing on and off. I just need to get around to actually uploading all of my sketches and such sometime. . .Eventually. . .and when I do all of you who watch me will hate life at the bajillion sketches that will fill your inbox.

No. Really.

XP Uuumm..what else. . .I have one more of my art classes to teach in August <3 I'm excited for it. I spent the money I'll get for those on a small tablet for myself today. It's real nice. I'm excited since now I'll be able to take my tablet with me to more places since my other one is huge. I'm still going to use that one too, but it'll probably only stay in my room for that station.

Other than that I'm going to be doing some other stuff this week and hopefully working on finishing up getting my license. Mur. I practiced maneuverability again today and I think I at least know how to do it again after refreshing my mind. Going to practice more of it tomorrow morning too~ Since I'm confident with the rest of what they'd test me on. I'm not worried about it, it'll work out in time~

Soo...I think that's pretty much it. I'm obsessed with Dragonlance now XD Haha. It's an awesome series and I really like RPing it. I can't wait till we get more involved story into our campaign but even without it I enjoy it a lot. We RPed it a bit at 's birthday party actually (we being platinarose, VaJt, Chocobokabob and some others). And threw me in the pool <_< but it was fun. . .even though I still don't like going underwater I want to be thrown in again. -weird- Uuuhh...Yeah. Fun times.

I'll try to upload some more art soon <3 I have some commissions to finish, so at least those will come up. I can promise that much.
